Thoughts on the Gone Girl OST.

Since 2011 David Fincher has almost exclusively worked with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Both times proving that a hauntingly beautiful score is the best companion to a masterfully crafted visual experience that only fincher seems to be able to create. Not many directors can say they've left such a huge imprint on the film industry and its only appropriate that the composer is fitting. Reznor & Atticus have proven their worth with their past work and look to keep that theme going with gone girls soundtrack. The ominous music sets the tone wonderfully for finchers and Gillian's worlds they love to create. From dialogue heavy scenes to long tracking action shots this soundtrack is sure to enhance the intense drama that will be unfolding on screen. If you're like me and can't wait to see the film I highly suggest you give this score a listen. It'll also be great background music if you're looking to read the book before seeing the movie. Stay tuned for mor gone girl news and a special review come Oct. 3.
